The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. While on our way to the Great sand dunes we were sidetracked by what would become a beautiful storm near Huerfano butte in Colorado. Huerfano butte is a remnant of an ancient volcano. This image is a 12 shot panorama taken on 8/1/14.
